The most important thing is to feel comfortable and move freely! But there are a few specifics:
Pole Fitness: Shorts are mandatory and a crop top or t-shirt—this ensures good contact with the pole. Classes are done barefoot.
Pole Exotic & Sensual Choreo: You can wear sensual or slightly bolder outfits to set the mood. If you’re not ready yet, regular leggings and a top are fine. For the first class, you can attend in socks; heels (high heels) are provided for free—just let me know your size. They can also be rented or purchased from our online store at polespace.ee. Knee pads are recommended, especially for more complex moves or floor work.
Stretching: For stretching classes, warmer but elastic clothing works best. It helps your body stay warm, keeps you comfortable during the session and doesn’t restrict your range of motion. Ideal options: leggings, a long-sleeve top or soft fitted shirt and socks.
For me personally, a good trainer is much more than just someone who can show beautiful moves or complex tricks. A coach creates a safe, supportive, and professional environment for your body’s development and confidence.
If I were choosing a trainer for myself, I would look for these qualities:
Experience and understanding of the body It’s important that your trainer not only demonstrates movements but also understands what you are doing and why. Proper technique always comes first - this shows that the instructor understands anatomy, biomechanics and knows how to build movement in a safe and effective way. If the trainer stays close, they support, correct and explain. If they step back, it means you already understand the technique and can perform the movement safely on your own.
A teaching style that truly resonates Every trainer has their own energy: some are very technical, some are fluid and sensual, and some focus on strength. Progress is much smoother when the trainer’s style and energy match your goals and personality.
Attention to detail A good trainer notices such small things as body alignment, muscle engagement, breathing, etc. They adapt movements to your body, because there’s no “one-size-fits-all” technique. This skill is what separates a real teacher from just a good dancer.
Safe and warm environment Pole Dance is an intimate journey with your body: you discover new abilities, overcome fears, and step out of your comfort zone. The class must feel safe, supportive, and never push you beyond your limits.
Individual attention Every student is a unique world, with their own body story and pace. I personally try to notice each person’s needs - true progress happens when someone feels genuinely guided, not just “led through a class.”
And finally, the most important thing: After the class, you should feel that you’ve learned something, overcome something, and started trusting yourself more. If a coach can make you feel that way – then you’ve found the right person.
No, prior experience is not necessary. In my classes, I make sure that general fitness and preparatory exercises gradually develop strength, flexibility and coordination - exactly the muscles and movement patterns you need for pole tricks.
Even if you’ve never done sports before after the first class you’ll feel your body in a completely new way. It’s important to let me know if you have any health issues or injuries so we can safely adapt the exercises. If needed, I also recommend consulting a doctor before starting.
Pole training is suitable at any age – the body can learn new movements and develop muscles even later in life! Our studio is for women, so we currently don’t take very young children to classes.
Pole Exotic, Sensual Choreo: 16+
Pole Fitness, Stretching: 13+ (parental consent required for minors)
Women in their 40s, 50s and older can also participate in pole classes - the intensity is adapted to each person’s level and the training develops strength, flexibility and coordination. I’m already 40+ myself and believe me - even now I feel how every class continues to develop my body and confidence.
Yes! We can organize your:
Bachelorette/Bachelor parties

Corporate events
Gatherings with friends
To book: info@polespace.ee, +372 5558 8001, or via our website: Space Party
We have small groups:
Pole Fitness -up to 7 people
Pole Exotic - up to 7 people
Stretching - up to 10 people
If you prefer a more private atmosphere, we can schedule an individual session. The most important thing is to have the courage to try!
Our classes take place in small and cozy groups. In pole classes, everyone has their own pole - so you can focus entirely on your own technique and progress.
Pole Fitness and Pole Exotic - up to 7 participants
Stretching and Sensual Choreo - up to 10 participants
For me, it’s really important to observe each woman’s technique, correct when needed, and provide support. Small groups allow me to give everyone enough attention and ensure a safe, high-quality training experience.
All beginner-level classes are marked “Level: Beginners.”
If you’re unsure, start with Stretching - it’s suitable for any level and helps prepare your body for pole training.
Beginners: Suitable for those just starting or returning after a break. Progress is individual; usually it takes about six months to move to the next level, but your instructor will assess your readiness personally.
Intermediate: Recommended for those who already have basic skills and have trained at the beginner level for around six months. At this level, we focus on developing more complex moves, strength, flexibility, and endurance.
All Levels: Open to anyone, regardless of experience. This format allows you to observe others’ progress, get inspired, and stay motivated.
If you’re unsure, contact me, and I’ll help you choose the level that’s right for you.
Yes, Pole Dance can support weight loss, but honestly and without sugarcoating.
Pole Dance and Stretching are full-body workouts that develop strength, flexibility and endurance, engaging your arms, back, core, legs, and deep muscles. This type of training boosts metabolism and helps tone your muscles.
It’s important to understand that Pole Dance alone won’t make you lose weight. Lasting results come from consistent training, balanced nutrition, sufficient sleep and stress management.
What Pole Dance does bring, however, is something that supports healthy changes even more effectively:
Your body becomes stronger and more mobile
Posture and muscle tone improve
Mood lifts and confidence grows
And as your confidence grows, you naturally make daily choices that support your goals.
Pole Dance is not just a “weight-loss workout” - it’s a practice that brings a new quality to both your body and mind.
Absolutely! Pole dance classes adapt to every body type and skill level. Everyone receives guidance and attention. The key is to move at your own pace, listen to your body and stay consistent. Each session brings small but steady results - your body grows stronger, movements become more fluid, and your confidence increases.
Absolutely! Pole Fitness is one of the best workouts for those with weaker arms. Speaking from my own experience: I started pole dance at 27, my arms were weak and lifting my own body weight felt impossible. This is completely normal - most beginners are in the same situation.
Why Pole Fitness is perfect for beginners with weaker arms:
Pole dance teaches you to use your whole body, not just your arms. A lot of the work comes from your back, shoulders and core muscles.
We learn techniques that reduce strain and make lifting your body more efficient.
Strength grows naturally and gradually, so you don’t need to “know” anything before coming to class.
Pole Fitness improves strength, endurance, coordination, and helps sculpt an elegant, strong body.
Workouts also boost mental confidence - every small progress increases self-belief.
Starting with weaker arms is not a disadvantage - it’s actually the perfect starting point. When you come to class, I make sure you move safely and progress steadily, step by step.
Yes, Pole Exotic is not only for experienced dancers. It’s a training that helps your body become more supple, improves mobility, and builds confidence - one step at a time.
If you feel “stiff” or insecure, know that this is not a barrier, but the perfect place to start.
What Pole Exotic gives to a beginner:
Develops rhythm and body fluidity
Improves joint mobility
Boosts confidence and body awareness
Helps explore your sensual and expressive side
Creates a safe environment where perfection is not expected
Also develops physical skills: balance, flexibility, and strength
As a trainer, I see that it’s completely normal to feel confused, uncomfortable or even resistant at first. This is part of the process - not a sign that “you can’t do it.” I don’t promise that everything will change after the first class, but I do promise you don’t have to experience it all alone. Every step, even an uncertain one, is already part of your journey.
It’s never too late! Age doesn’t limit your possibilities. I work with women 40+, 50+ and older. We adjust the intensity of the training to each person’s level, and your body responds quickly. The most important thing is to start and listen to your body.
You can absolutely start your first classes in socks – it's a comfortable way to begin. But I strongly recommend trying heels from the very first session. Why?
Only in proper pole dance heels can you fully experience the beauty and specificity of Pole Exotic.
Heels make your movement smoother and more feminine.
Your posture instantly becomes more elegant.
Many Pole Exotic elements (including spins and heelwork) are designed specifically for heels – this way you learn the correct technique right from the start.
A higher heel supports your movement and helps you feel the work of your feet better.
I provide heels for free in your first class - just let me know your shoe size. You can also rent or buy them from our online shop: polespace.ee
Starting in socks is totally fine, but wearing heels gives you the real Pole Exotic experience and significantly helps your technique development.
I could talk about this for hours, but in short:
Stretching helps release tension in the body and improves mobility in all joints.
Flexibility improves and the body feels lighter and more fluid.
It strengthens deep muscles and improves posture.
It has a positive effect on mood - after class, you feel calm and balanced.
Suitable for all levels - both beginners and advanced.
Classes take place in a safe environment where everyone can move within their abilities.
I’ll keep it short, but trust me - this is an experience that transforms you:
Pole Exotic helps you discover your femininity and confidence.
Classes develop strength, flexibility, and coordination, especially in your arms, core and legs.
You’ll learn elegant movements, fluidity and sensual expression.
Pole Exotic is a wonderful way to express yourself and feel sexy and beautiful.
All training takes place in a safe environment where everyone can move at their own pace.
For your first class, you can join in socks; heels can be rented or purchased from our online store polespace.ee.
I provide heels for your first session free of charge - just let me know your shoe size.
Pole Fitness classes develop your strength, endurance and muscle tone. They also improve flexibility and coordination - skills that help you feel better in your everyday life. These workouts sculpt your body, strengthen your core and boost your confidence and well-being. Plus, our small, supportive groups ensure that after each session, you feel refreshed both physically and mentally.
The classes are led by me, Yekaterina Rekap - I’m the founder and trainer of the studio. I also offer individual sessions as a psychologist, so I understand both the body’s and the mind’s needs. If you want to know more about me and my approach, be sure to check my page – it tells the full story and why I do what I do.
